On 16-19 August in Lublin took place IKO summer camp 2012, or international karate camp. It was organized by Shihan Jacek Czarniec from Lublin Club Karate Kyokushin. This year's guests were Shihan Seiji Isobe of Brazil and Shihan Gorai Katsushito from the United States.
On Thursday, after a meeting of all participants we started with the greeting and then immediately got down to hard training. The leitmotif of all classes were training kihon, ido-geiko and Kata. Unfortunately for me, there lacked a greater emphasis on the elements of combat, because as a player, hoping to learn the secrets of training Brazilians.
One of the attractions was a welcome sun and morning meditation, which took place at 4.30 on Friday. On Saturday sensei along with the guests went in kimonos an exhibition devoted to tsunami. In the popłudniowych he took the exam for master's degrees dan and kyu. At the beginning of Shihan Gorai stressed, that there will be a light test and liczmy it, that we pass easily. He said that he did. The exam was very comprehensive and the number of positive results was within 50%. At the same time, for, which did not seem was conducted training with Sensei Sylvester Sypień, coach of the national team. At the end of a hard day waiting for us sayonara, where you can relax and rest before the last day.
Sunday's workout with the photo session and the results of the exam ended this year's camp. I hope, that the next camp will be more dedicated kumite karate because in the end despite the, it does not depend only on the fight, It is very much associated with it.
